I’ve been going to Cheeky Denver since they first opened, and one of the biggest reasons I stayed loyal is because of Dana. She does an incredible job with injectables — very thoughtful, balanced, and natural-looking, which is exactly what I personally want. I truly appreciate her artistry and attention to detail. The issue I ran into happened while Dana was out on maternity leave. I had called to schedule an appointment and was informed at that time that she was currently out of the office. Of course, I completely understand and respect maternity leave — that part was never the issue. Since I still needed to come in, I scheduled with the available appointment they had for the following day. On the day of the appointment, I got stuck in traffic and called ahead to let them know I was running about 15 minutes late. I even asked if they preferred to reschedule. I was then told I would not be allowed to come in, which I understood if timing no longer worked for the provider. However, I was also told they would still keep my $320 deposit as a cancellation fee. What felt frustrating was that I was not actually no-showing or irresponsibly canceling — I was actively communicating and trying to reschedule. Since the appointment itself had only been made the day before, being told it still counted as a “less than 24-hour cancellation” felt unnecessarily rigid and honestly unfair, especially as a long-term patient. I completely understand why businesses have cancellation policies in place and I respect the need to protect providers’ time. However, I think there also needs to be some room for reasonable discretion when patients are communicative, loyal, and making a genuine effort to still make the appointment or reschedule responsibly. I still think Dana does beautiful work, and that’s why I continued going there for so long. I just hope the customer service and policy handling can become a little more understanding and patient-centered in situations like this.

I had such a great experience at Cheeky Denver with Dana as my injector. I was honestly really nervous going in because I didn’t want to look like I had obvious “work done,” especially with chin filler and tox, but Dana completely put me at ease. She took her time and never made me feel rushed, which I really appreciated. Before doing anything, she carefully mapped out my entire face and talked through everything with me so we were fully aligned. That level of detail made me feel so comfortable and confident in the process. I came in for facial balancing and I’m so happy with my result, it looks natural, just enhanced in the best way. I’m already planning to go back for lip filler. They also offer an amazing membership where your payment goes toward your next visit, which is such a great option if you plan to maintain results. I truly can’t recommend this spa enough!
